a man broke into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment shortly before midnight Sunday and was shot by the woman’s new boyfriend.

Richland County Coroner Gary Watts said 26-year-old Roderick Eugene Harris Jr. died at a Columbia hospital after being shot in the chest.
