Equipment

You will need to bring the following to this course:

  • One or more handguns. Pistols AND revolvers are welcome.
  • 200 rounds of ammunition for your handgun(s). Bring more if you want to shoot more. Bring dummy rounds or snap caps, if you have them.

I took the Handgun Proficiency course today and came out with much more knowledge and now feel that I can protect myself after going through the hands on training at the shooting range. I had no experience with guns and was generally wary of even picking one up. I now am able to handle one safely as well as load and shoot without feeling nervous. Alex was very patient with me and made me feel at ease. He answered all my questions and took all the time I needed to feel comfortable handling a firearm.
