Fake gun robbery gone wrong

WZZM reports that a Grand Rapids’ robbery went wrong on Sunday night. The robber was so convincing with his fake gun that his victim felt the need to use his own gun, which was real. I don’t know about Grand Rapids, but in South Carolina the victim would have been perfectly justified in doing what he did. The fact that the gun turns out to be fake afterwards does not matter as far as ticking the “is my life in danger” box is concerned. If it looks real, we can assume it is real.
